Omni United and Jodi Ewart Shadoff Primed for a Successful 2018 LPGA Season

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., January. 24th, 2018 – Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. announced that its partnership with LPGA golfer, Jodi Ewart Shadoff as the brand ambassador for its flagship brand Radar tires has entered its third consecutive year. The LPGA season starts on January 25th and Jodi will be opening the season with the ISPS Handa Women’s Open in Australia on February 15th.

Over the last three seasons Jodi has managed to significantly improve her game. From an official World ranking of 206 in 2015 she managed to finish the 2017 season at 42nd place. She has continually improved on performance parameters such as greens in regulation, number of birdies and also shot her career-best second place finish at the prestigious 2017 British Open and a fourth-place finish at the 2017 Manulife LPGA Classic. Her 2017 season included three top-10 finishes along with a spot on the European Team at the Solheim Cup.

Omni United signed Jodi as a brand ambassador for their flagship brand, Radar Tires back in April 2016 and this is the third consecutive year of their partnership. Over the last two years Jodi has been representing and promoting Radar Tires at the various LPGA tournaments in the US, Europe and Asia. She carries the Radar brand logos on her apparel, cap and golf bag. Additionally, since 2016 Jodi has been actively partnering with Omni United and Radar Tires on their social responsibility initiatives such as supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer.

In 2017, Jodi partnered with Radar Tires to launch their latest initiative “Birdies for BCRF” in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through its Play for P.I.N.K. partner. Through this program both Radar Tires and Jodi donated $100 each to the BCRF for every birdie that Jodi made in her tournaments during the month of October 2017 (officially recognized as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month). This initiative managed to raise an additional $21,800 to fund Breast Cancer Research globally. This sum was over and above Radar Tires’ minimum annual commitment of $50,000, taking the brands total donation over the last six years to $1,121,800.

The company plans to continue to focus on activities and programs involving Jodi and its dealers in 2018 for enhanced promotion and visibility of the Radar Tires brand for its dealers and customers.
